Spousal Support in Separation Agreement E-mail
Spousal support is the financial agreement between a divorcing couple and involves how much one spouse will provide for the other. In most cases it is the husband providing for his ex-wife.

A separation agreement occurs when a couple decides to end their marriage but before the matter is heard in a divorce court. The separation agreement can specify the terms of the spousal agreement but it may not be approved by the court.

If the court believes the terms are unfair or unreasonable, it has the power to order changes.
