My spouse and I have decided prior to divorce that cohabitation won’t terminate spousal support. How can I change this? E-mail

Assuming that you are the supporting spouse and has either (1) remarried and found it difficult to continue providing the necessary support or (2) found it unnecessary to continue supporting his or her ex-spouse who just remarried, you can file a motion asking the court to review the terms of the spousal support. The purpose of this is for a chance to score a rebuttal and plead for his your case of reduced resources to provide alimony or unnecessary support due to having remarried.

However, if you are the spouse being supported, you can simply file a motion and have the alimony modified due to change of circumstances.
