Apparently, the possibility of giving up approximately $50 million dollars is not making Courtney Cox lose any sleep.
The Cougar Town star and husband/actor David Arquette have set up a financial settlement a couple of years ago in the event that they divorce. Therefore, instead of going to court over financial dispute, both of them will simply follow the division of assets and properties as indicated in their settlement. No word yet as to what their settlement indicates.
Under California law, Arquette has the option to take half of Cox’s actual worth, which is estimated at $100M. However, according to Metrowny, Arquette told a close friend that “I have no interest in Courteney's money. I have my own money. I don't care about that.”
The rumored divorce between Cox and Arquette first surfaced when Arquette said on the Howard Stern Show two weeks ago that the couple has not been having sex for four months. Also, Arquette told what Cox said to him, that "I don’t wanna be your mother anymore."
